Frankland River

The Frankland River district is a cool-climate region about 200km inland from the South West Coast of Western Australia. Its wines are considered some of the country’s finest, not least because of its uniquely pristine grape-growing conditions. This marvellous environment is particularly conducive to making top-quality Shiraz (or Syrah), some of which are touted as rivals to the great wines of the Rhône.
