Description

Carel has two parcels, one facing east, the other more southerly towards Pernand. There is less of the Pernand fruit this year, so the mineral grip of the wine is accentuated. Overall, the class of the wine is evident, but without its more exotic edge the wine is dense and taciturn at the moment. But there are no concerns for the longer term. Drink 2027-2042
