The Ockfen 2019 Bockstein Riesling GG opens with an intense, dense and elegant, flinty and slightly iron-scented bouquet that displays perfectly ripe and healthy, somewhat flinty Riesling fruit with lemon chutney notes. Intense, ripe and very elegant on the densely textured and a bit more creamy than crystalline palate, this is a full-bodied, lush and round yet very fine and sustainably salty and tensioned Bockstein. It has highly delicate tannins on the complex and sustainable finish that again shows generous, perfectly ripe Riesling fruit with lingering lemon juice notes. About this wine
Riesling
Riesling's twin peaks are its intense perfume and its piercing crisp acidity which it manages to retain even at high ripeness levels.
