Description
The château’s willingness to leave its pickers idle between the last of the Merlots and the first of the Cabernets paid dividends. The joyously expressive Merlot has been captured and the Cabernet Sauvignon, picked with precision, is very detailed. There is a redcurrant bite to the wine, and the palate is focused and tight. Drink 2026-2040.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW 90-92+/100
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Giscours delivers expressive notions of baked raspberries, Black Forest cake and sauted herbs with a core of crme de cassis, pencil lead, fertile loam and fallen leaves. Full-bodied, taut and muscular in the mouth with earth-laced baked black fruits, it has a firm, chewy texture and refreshing herbal sparks on the finish.Lisa Perrotti-Brown - 23/04/2019
