Allen Meadows 91-93/100
A ripe and softly exotic yet cool nose exhibits notes of dried white and yellow orchard fruit, especially apricot and passion fruit. There is an incredible intensity to the notably finer and more mineral-driven medium-bodied flavours that possess better depth and are better balanced on the more firmly structured finale. This is excellent, but patience is strongly advised.Drink from 2027 onwardallen_meadows, burghound_com.com (June 2019)
Jasper Morris MW 94/100
A good holding, with vines averaging 45 to 50 years old. Light primrose, a little whiff of sulphur, but a feeling of excellent fruit density. This really kicks on behind, multi-layered, with very good flesh on the bones but still fresh, lively and mineral. Strict but wants to be generous.Jasper Morris MW, InsideBurgundy.com (October 2018)
