Description

A blend of 75 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 10 percent Merlot, 10 percent Cabernet Franc and five percent Petit Verdot. Dark crimson in colour, there are notes of red fruit and a tremendous freshness which runs through it.

Medium garnet-purple colored and composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2017 du Tertre gives expressive notes of black berries and cassis with pencil lead, bay leaves and lavender hints. Château du Tertre

Château du Tertre in Margaux can trace its history back to the 12th century. The estate has 50 hectares of vineyards, neighbouring Cantenac-Brown and Brane-Cantenac to the north and Giscours to the east. In 2021, the estate was sold by the Albada Jelgersma family to a French institutional investor; it is run by the Helfrich family of Les Grands Chais de France.
