Jancis Robinson MW 17.5/20
Single vineyard in Verzy on a 15% slope at 140–160 m. 70% Pinot Noir co-planted with 30% Chardonnay – vines 22 years old. No malo. Bottled April 2012. Disgorged March 2023. Dosage 4.8 g/l.Obviously, long-aged on lees but with some freshness, too. Really vibrant and interesting. Tight-knit and extremely persistent. Lots of layers here. Neat but not effusive mousse and a real pleasure to drink now.Drink 2023 - 2029jancis_robinson_mw MW, JancisRobinson.com (June 2023)
