Top-notch Blanco Tequila here, ideal for sipping or as a base for some delicious longer drinks. Sweet agave notes are the calling card here, with a juicy citrus component making itself known. I’ve enjoyed this enormously whilst cooking communally before a dinner with friends. As with all this producer’s wares, the finish temptingly invites another pour.

Volcan de mi Tierra is a Tequila producer that was established in 2017. It takes its name from a volcano located in Jalisco, Mexico. There are four Tequilas in the range: Blanco, Reposado, Cristalino, and X.A. (Xtra Assemblage). The house is a collaboration between Moët Hennessy and the Gallardo family, whose Mexican roots date back to 1774.
