Description
Five individual plots located in the heart of Quinta de Vargellas make up the Vinha Vehla, the vines in question being between 80 and 120 years of age. Deep roots have defied the drought in the quest for nourishment and complexity and the resulting wine is rich and powerful indeed, even if rather brutish in extreme youth. The palate is gloriously sweet and dense, bristling with potential for the long, longer and probably longest term of all!
