Description

To mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III on 6th May 2023, we are thrilled to offer a commemorative limited edition bottling of Taylor’s Very Very Old Tawny Port.

Very Very Old Port is a relatively new category of Port and has been created for very old, blended Tawny Ports without a specific age denomination. This Taylor’s Very Very Old Tawny Port is a blend of wines, some of which are more than 90 years old, others over 80 years.

David Guimaraens, Taylor’s Head winemaker, explains: “The component wines for this limited-edition blend were drawn from among our finest and oldest cask aged Ports and were carefully selected for their balance and complexity. Decades of ageing in oak casks have given them a majestic power and depth while retaining a remarkable freshness and vitality.”

Each bottle comes individually packed in an elegant beech wooden box.
