2021 Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot, Burgundy

Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot’s Puligny-Montrachet comes from 1.80 hectares across seven parcels: Les Enseignères (which holds five of the plots), Rue Rousseau and Les Meix.  All are brilliantly placed, lying side-by-side underneath Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues and Les Pucelles.  As usual, the wine demonstrates plenty of density and detail, as is the house style.  This year the three buckets harvested from La Garenne were also included in the blend.  Drink 2024 – 2032.
